Job Opening: Senior Java Developer

Job Description

Responsible for the operation and successful delivery of backend software solutions/projects using Java and Java Framework.  Lead the design of backend Java applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications or third-party services. Develop reusable components and ensure the modularity of the codebase. Implement appropriate error handling and logging mechanisms, ensuring issues can be tracked and fixed. Oversee application deployment and provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for live systems. Identify bottlenecks in performance and apply optimizations at both the application and database levels. Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, DevOps, Product Management) to ensure successful project delivery. May mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Job Requirements

The job requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related field, and five years of experience in any Software Development/ Software Engineering Occupations. At least three of those years of experience must be with Java, Groovy, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular.

Primary Worksite:

Visual Consultants, Inc, 4900 Hwy 169 N, #140, New Hope, MN 55428 and unanticipated job locations throughout the USA.  Requires travel/relocation to client sites in different states in the USA.

Hours of Work and Salary

40 hours a week full time work at an annual salary $145,018.00
